I've tutored friends and friends' children on a semi-formal basis during school and university, and I completed a Maths Teaching module at university, which involved placements at schools. At university, I also volunteered as a mentor for the Sea Scouts, so I'm relatively experienced at working with GCSE age pupils.

Having graduated from university last year, I've got a sound knowledge of the current syllabus and how to succeed in it. I'm also young enough to have a natural rapport with my prospective pupils. I didn't start off as the most enthusiastic pupil of mathematics, but I grew into quite a successful one, so I know how to sell the subject to others. I also have a keen amateur interest in Latin literature.
